Students will have an understanding of the responsibilities of a Deputy Clerk, the requirements to be deputized as a Deputy Clerk, the deputization process, and the deputization policy and procedure.

Ashley Cebotaru
Ashley has been with the Clerk’s Office since February 2018, starting out as a Clerk I in Criminal After Court Processing. Ashley was the Front Line Trainer in After Court and was one of the instructors for the ACE Processing Misdemeanor and Traffic Court Docket Pages course and the instructor for the Event and Link course for new hires. In June 2019, Ashley became a Senior Training Specialist (formerly Clerk III) in Training and Development. Prior to joining the Clerk’s Office, Ashley earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from the University of Tampa in 2016 and worked in Family Court at a small Clerk’s Office in Missouri as well as the County Sheriff's Office prior to that. Ashley earned her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University in August 2019.
